How many people does La Pila accommodate?
La Pila accommodates up to 36 guests on-site, in 14 rooms and 2 appartments. Additional accommodation is available in the nearby village of Bettona.
When will La Pila open?
We are currently in our founding phase and finalising construction on the land. We anticipate opening in Summer 2027.
Will you be open year round?
Yes, La Pila is available year-round. Spring (April–June) and early Autumn (September–October) are particularly beautiful. Summer is warm and vibrant. Winter carries a quality of stillness.
Can I book a stay as an individual guest?
We are currently connecting with facilitators and building our founding calendar. We expect to open for individual stays during specific periods. Feel free to join our mailing list to be the first to hear when we open for individual bookings.
Is there a restaurant or catering provided?
Catering is included as part of the hosting arrangement during retreats. Food is sourced from the property's own garden and from local Umbrian producers where possible.
Is WiFi available?
Yes, complimentary wifi is available thorughout.
How do I get to La Pila Umbria?
La Pila is located a short drive from the village of Bettona, and 25 minutes from Assisi. The nearest airports are Perugia (30mins), Florence (2hrs), and Rome (2.5hrs). Assisi train station is easily reachable by taxi (25 mins).
